An original 1954 design, this loose-fitting dress (fitted through the waist) has front and back extending into sleeves, cuffs, side front and side back seams, stiffening from waist to hemline, side pockets and asymmetrical bound-button closing. The self-fringed, single-layer sash (wrong side shows) has a narrow hem.
